To the online home of independent author G Johanson. I write fiction in the paranormal genre, with all of my stories linked in some way. Immortal witches, spiritualist mediums and street magicians populate my books, along with many other supernatural characters and creatures and even some ‘normal’ people too.

A paranormal trilogy beginning in Keokuk, Iowa, as the protagonist, James Grey, resigns from his job as a gardener to prepare for war and concludes with a farewell meeting in a Californian maltshop. Inbetween these two scenes are nine years of supernatural and personal dramas. Accursed details the second war that novice medium and GI, James Grey, encounters in Occupied France between two immortal witches. Underbelly follows James Grey again as he tours the States performing as a medium, contending with dark forces hidden in the shadows. Eidolon details the fall and rise of James Grey, alongside the systematic liquidation of any and all occultists.

One of the more interesting characters in the Accursed trilogy, Georges Steil’s colourful past is explored further in a series of short stories and novellas, compiled together in Cults, Curses & Cryptids. End-of-the-world cults, anarchic zombie terrorists, black lodges, disfigured sculptors and living statues - all human (and inhuman) life is covered here. The majority of these tales are also available as individual downloads.
